Live Greater

Finding strength when life feels small

Sometimes life feels ordinary—or even discouraging. You’re trying to do what’s right, but progress seems slow and results seem hidden. The Book of Haggai reminds us that God is still at work in the small, ordinary moments of obedience. When we stay faithful, He builds something far greater than we can see.

“Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, declares the LORD... Work, for I am with you, declares the LORD of hosts.” — Haggai 2:4 (ESV)

God’s command to “be strong” isn’t about forcing ourselves to be tougher—it’s about trusting that His presence gives us strength. True courage comes from knowing God is with us, even when we feel weak.

“I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13 (ESV)

Choose to live a life of courage

Charlie Kirk lived a life of courage, his death proved it. Check out this quote of what he said to a 13 year old girl:

“13 year old girl: “What advice do you have for me as I move into adulthood in order to become a more informed and involved citizen?” ... Charlie Kirk: “Well, first of all, thank you for being here and I have hope, thanks to people like you. How old are you again? 13…Here's a couple things I want to encourage you to do. Learn somethin learn something new every single day and focus on what it means to be a good person and a person of strong character. Aristotle said that courage is the ultimate virtue. Without it, there are no other virtues. If people aren't courageous, you don't have honesty. You don't have justice, you don't beauty, you don't have wonder. And so, at age 13, I want you to commit yourself to a life of courage. Courage is doing the right thing when you don't know how it's going to work out. Courage is committing yourself to the correct course of action, regardless of the cost associated to it.” ” — Watch Here

Live today in faith

We can't control what will come at us in the future or what it is already done in the past but we can control today. As the leadership guru says,

“We overexaggerate yesterday, we overestimate tomorrow and we underestimate today. - John Maxwell ”

Don't underestimate today, today matters, know that God is with you and boldly obey God and stand up against evil in this world.

How God Strengthens You

  1. Through His Word — Scripture renews your mind and reminds you of His promises.
  2. Through Trials — Challenges refine faith and reveal God’s power in your weakness.
  3. “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.” — James 1:2–3 (ESV)
  4. Through Community — God often strengthens you through encouragement from His people.
  5. Through His Spirit — You are never alone; His Spirit empowers you daily.

Let's live a life of faith and strength in God and choose to pursue Godly habits that strengten our faith like a muscle, so we are ready to stand strong in our day of testing.

Live strong. Live Spirit-filled. Live greater.
